a fresh start

at 573 Meeting Street

“We believe that our community’s most vulnerable neighbors deserve the best of what Charleston has to offer. Housing built specifically to support people moving out of homelessness is critical to ending homelessness, once and for all.

The impact of this project will be profound and long lasting.”

Stacey Denaux, One80 Place CEO

As the walls rise at 573 Meeting Street and move-in day conversations start to fill the halls, it’s clear that spring will bring more than just warm weather—it will bring life-changing opportunities for those we serve. With 50 studio apartments, 16 one-bedrooms, and 4 two-bedroom units, 573 Meeting Street will soon become home to more than 70 individuals who once faced homelessness without hope or a place to call their own.

Set to open in spring 2026, this development also includes a brand-new women and family shelter, doubling capacity for women and mothers and children experiencing homelessness. More than just a roof, it will offer safety, stability, and a fresh start.

573 Meeting Street isn’t just a building— it’s a doorway to new beginnings.
